Printer setup for Windows XP
From the Start menu select "Printers and Faxes".
Next select "Add a printer". See below:
This will bring up the welcome dialog box:
Click "Next".
Check that the "A network printer or a printer attached to another computer" radio button is selected then push "Next".
Check that the "Connect to this printer (or to browse for a printer, select this option and click Next" radio button is selected, then enter the name of the printer in the text box.

Note:
For privately owned laptops that are not connected to the University of Melbourne Domain, you will have to use the IP address of the server.

Also, when prompted for the user name and password, enter:
- unimelb\user_name
- then Password.
Select the appropriate radio button for the default printer status then push "Next".
To complete the installation, push the "Finish" button
