Computers
Computers are purchased by individual research groups and managed by the IT department.
Note:
Only the Biochemistry IT department has the authority to install
software on university-owned computers. Contact Biochemistry
IT staff to arrange the installation of new software. A staff
member will install the software provided the licence agreement
allows it and the department approves it.
Under certain conditions, privately owned laptops can be connected to the departmental network.
